This peel was formulated to be a gentler, lower-downtime alternative to the deeper Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel.

Number of treatments: A single session will have some benefit, but for optimal results we recommend a series of 3-6 treatments, spaced 2-6 weeks apart depending on skin type and goals.
How It Works
The active ingredients are the same as in the EB Renewal Peel (but much weaker) so there is little to no shedding and the peel can be applied more frequently.
Resorcinol helps break down rough, scaly or hardened skin, and can improve skin tone and texture.
Kojic acid is a skin-lightening antioxidant that works on melanocytes (cells producing pigment).
Salicylic acid is a BHA (beta hydroxy acid) that exfoliates, helps dissolve keratin plugs (for acne/blackheads), has anti-inflammatory properties and can stimulate collagen.
It functions by loosening skin cell adhesion in the outer skin layers so dead skin cells can shed faster, new cells can surface, and the skin renewal cycle is stimulated.

- Peeling/flaking: If it happens, it usually begins about day 4-5 after treatment, lasting about 3 days. Some clients may not notice visible peeling, yet the treatment is still working beneath the surface.

- A strong broad-spectrum sunscreen is critical, since the skin will be more sun-sensitive.
