Please plan to stay out of the public eye for 8 days.

During this time, your skin will begin to shed its damaged outer layer, revealing a healthier, smoother surface beneath.

The process involves 2 applications of a specialised cream, applied 24 hours apart.

• After the first application, the skin appears slightly red, but not alarming.

• By Day 3; a mild darkening begins, similar to the look of sun exposure & will feel very tight.

• By Day 4; the skin reaches peak discoloration, resembling a deep sunburn.

• At the end of Day 4 and into Day 5; peeling begins gradually.

• On Day 8; any remaining skin is gently removed by a trained therapist in a sterile environment.

This is a controlled, safe exfoliation process. The skin is never raw, and nothing can go wrong because there is no damage to the living tissue. What’s revealed is brand new skin: glowing, smooth, and finely textured, much like youthful skin. Because this new skin is temporarily sensitive to the sun, sunblock must be worn daily for at least two months following treatment.

The peel is applied over two consecutive days.  You will hold a fan on your face to help with comfort until the peel settles for up to 20mins. You will stay on the bed with eyes closed for 2hrs. After 2hrs the peel is removed & aftercare cream applied.

YOU MAY NOT GET THE AREA WET FOR 8 DAYS

You will return the next day and repeat the application. Each session lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

YOU MUST NOT EXPOSE THE AREA TO THE SUN AT ALL!

You will return on Day 8 for professional skin removal.

For pigmentation, acne, melasma, rosacea or extremely sun damaged, aged skin, typically 2–3 treatments 6-8wks apart are advised to achieve optimal results.

For a general skin refresh 1 treatment will be enough.

The treatment offers comparable benefits to more invasive procedures (like lasers) but with less discomfort, safer outcomes, and often lower cost. It’s especially valued for its safety, even around delicate areas and its minimal risk of injury to live skin cells.

You will need to stay out of the public eye for 8 Days. 

During the peeling phase, only a soothing cream and a broad-spectrum sunscreen are to be used (provided in your aftercare pack)

Makeup and other skincare products are to be avoided until the peeling process completes. Extended sun protection, including avoiding direct exposure for several months is critical to safeguarding new skin

You will receive an aftercare pack containing a face scarf, mineral sunscreen & soothing ointment.

Nothing else is to be used.

Bring headphones if you want to listen to anything during the treatment, a cardigan or jumper as the room will be cold. YOU MUST BRING A HAT & SUNGLASSES.

1 x maintenance peel is recommended every 12-18mths to maintain and preserve your refreshed appearance.

You should not undergo the Skin Renewal Peel if you have any of the following conditions or situations:

• Pregnancy or currently breastfeeding.
• Active cancer, or undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
• Recent or current use of oral isotretinoin (e.g., Isotretinoin / Accutane) — typically within the last 6-12 months.
• Active infection, open wound, lesion, or recent laser/abrasive treatment in the area to be peeled.
• Active herpes simplex (cold sore)
• Allergy or hypersensitivity to key active ingredients; for example, resorcinol or salicylates (aspirin sensitivity).
• Recent strong sunburn, tanning bed use, or significant recent UV exposure (increasing risk of complications).
• Autoimmune disease or immune system disorders
• Uncontrolled medical conditions that may interfere with healing or increase risk (for example, severe cold/flu at time of treatment).
• Currently taking antibiotics - wait until they are finished and you are fully recovered.
• Not recommended for anyone with high level anxiety or dysmorphia issues.

Discomfort is felt for the first 15-20mins after the peel is applied. In general the skin looks pink & feels sunburnt. On day 3 it feels very tight & uncomfortable until it starts to crack on day 4.
