When Comparing Photos Of Results

When you look at photos of completed cosmetic tattooing, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, consider the age of the client. Second, think about the firmness and condition of their skin. Third, take into account their starting point before the treatment.

For example, eyeliner on mature skin won’t look exactly like eyeliner on younger or firmer skin. This is because we need to be able to stretch the skin during the procedure, and older skin tends to have less elasticity.

Lips often have sun damage and can be hard and calloused, making them tricky to work with initially. But don’t worry! The good news is that lip skin improves between treatments. Before getting an initial lip treatment, I recommend using a lip balm and gentle exfoliator for about 1-2 weeks beforehand. Also, keep in mind that dehydrated and wrinkled lips can make it more challenging to achieve a straight outline. However, with proper care before and after the treatment and the collagen-boosting effects of “skin needling,” most lips show significant improvement after lip tattooing.

Brows are another area where previous treatments may come into play. Some clients might have scarring or residual pigment from past procedures that need extra attention during their brow journey towards achieving desired results.

Remember that cosmetic tattooing is not a one-size-fits-all solution! Each treatment is specially designed based on individual challenges faced by each client. So rest assured knowing that your cosmetic tattoo will be tailored just for you!
