Why Do I Need 2 Treatments?

Cosmetic tattooing is an exciting journey, but it does require a bit of patience. It’s completely normal to need 2 to 3 treatments in order to achieve the best results and get the color and shape you desire. The second treatment, which we recommend scheduling 4-8 weeks after your initial one, is designed to perfect your look.

During this process, it’s common to notice some patchiness, unevenness, or fading between your first and second treatments. But don’t worry! We’re here to make sure everything looks fabulous in the end.

However, please keep in mind that everyone’s skin heals differently, so we can’t predict exactly how your initial treatment will turn out. Factors such as general health, iron levels, medications, and even your lymphatic system can affect how the pigment settles into your skin.

Now let’s talk about eyeliner specifically. It may fade quite a bit between the first and second treatments. But here’s some good news: I’ve noticed that after the second treatment, the colour tends to stay in place much better. So even if you experience fading initially, there’s no need to be disheartened!

Remember that cosmetic tattooing pigment is not like regular body tattoos; it isn’t permanent. In fact, it has come a long way from using body tattoo ink on faces! Our pigments are specially formulated for cosmetic purposes and offer great results. However, because each person is unique and our techniques continue to improve over time, some patience is required along this journey.

Once you’ve had your perfection or retouch treatment (remember: recommended within 4-8 weeks of the initial treatment), we suggest having a colour boost every 12-18 months or when you notice significant fading without complete disappearance. This way we can maintain your beautiful look without starting from scratch each time – it also saves you money in the long run!

Rest assured that our industry is constantly evolving. Brow styles, techniques, and pigments are always improving. This means you have the opportunity to update your cosmetic tattooing whenever necessary, so you can stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements.

We’re here for you every step of the way on this exciting journey of enhancing your natural beauty through cosmetic tattooing!
